THE CAREER GUIDANCE INTERVIEW
is an essential starting point for any wayward student who requires assertive discipline lessons from a qualified school teacher.

The interview is conducted in order to establish the necessary level of discipline to be administered to a student. A home school agreement will be drawn up and signed by all parties involved.

This lasts for approximately 30 minutes and usually takes place prior to the first lesson.

Prospective students are expected to write an essay of 250 words about their wayward behaviour.

It must be in their best joined up handwriting, in ink, NOT biro or felt tip, and presented in an A5 exercise book ready for assessment at the beginning of the interview.

THE FIRST LESSON
follows the career guidance interview and lasts for 30 minutes. 
Students are expected to demonstrate the discussed behaviour traits and to receive the appropriate punishment. At the end of the lesson boys and girls will write their homework in the diary that has been presented to them. It is expected that homework will take approximately 45 minutes and will be presented at the following lesson. However if further misbehaviour has taken place then a written punishment must be expected. 

SECOND & FURTHER LESSONS
Each lesson will now be divided into two periods of 30 minutes duration. In the first period homework will be collected and assessed whilst boys and girls cary out suitable classroom activities. The second period will involve one to one remedial tuition designed to the individuals needs. Boys and girls who misbehave will be made an example of and disciplined accordingly. Good behaviour will be rewarded as is appropriate. Homework will be set on a regular basis and may include, writing, reading and/or research. Failure to produce homework will be seen as breach of the home school agreement drawn up at the career guidance interview. Boys and girls will be excluded and an appointment to receive six of the best from the Senior Master will be made. Make sure you are clean and presentable at all times!
